Consistency is key to quality and productivity when you monitor the construction process. But, regular monitoring can prove difficult. Aerial photographs, for example, must be taken at the same angle, altitude and location each time. It can be very difficult to duplicate the exact same flight procedure and photo mission each week. Drone technology is able to make this feasible. Read on to learn more about some of the best options.

CrystalSky monitors

If you're in the market for a new aerial imaging drone, you might want to consider a DJI CrystalSky monitor drone. This new display is specially designed for outdoor drone photography. It features a large, bright display and is compatible to the DJI GO App, which allows camera operators full control of the images. If you aren't sure if this is the right option for you, continue reading to find out more about its many features.

ZenaDrone

ZenaDrone is a smart farm solution that combines hardware with software. This allows farmers to make better informed decisions. Farmers can enjoy unprecedented control and detail thanks to the drone's multispectral camera and intelligent flight modes. The ZenaDrone is designed for hemp farming and can pinpoint issues in plants. It can detect male hemp plants and take them out to encourage the growth of females, which in turn produces CBD oil. This is just a small example of the many uses this technology has.

Echodyne

A new radar system will make it possible for drones to fly more easily without being noticed. Echodyne is a Seattle-based company that seeks expedited approval from the FCC for its system. It uses "metamaterials," which are electronic arrays to direct light beams in any direction. This technology can scan a wide area of view, much like the radar systems in jet fighters. It is smaller and lighter than the radar systems and it does not require the user to move the device.

Osmo

You can easily switch between video recording and monitoring with the Osmo monitor drone. It is easy to use the camera with just a swipe down or up on your home page. The camera comes with a tilt control as well as a floating handle that lets you keep it floating in the water. To reduce light exposure or reflections, there are several accessories that can be purchased. These include Polarizer filters and Neutral density (ND), filters. For water scenes with natural colors, underwater filters are also available.

How To

What is a "Battery Pack" and how can it be replaced?

The main power source for your drone's motors is the battery pack. They provide enough power to keep your quadcopter flying smoothly and safely.

When you buy a new drone, you probably won't notice any difference between the old battery pack and the new one. Over time, however, your battery pack may start to wear down. You might lose your drone's ability to function properly. You will need to replace the battery in your drone to ensure it continues to function properly.

It is best to replace a battery pack with the original part. Otherwise, you risk damaging your drone by installing a faulty battery pack.

These are the steps you need to follow in order to replace a dead battery pack.

  1. Disconnecting the battery connector cable is a good idea. This ensures your drone doesn’t receive any electricity. To disconnect the battery connector cable, simply pull it away from the drone.
  2. Unscrew the battery. Unscrew your quadcopter's battery pack. The battery pack often splits into two pieces.
  3. Locate the contacts of your battery. After you have taken the battery pack out, look for the contact points. These small metal pins connect the battery to the rest of the components inside the drone.
  4. Next, install the new battery. Next, place the new battery in the drone. Then align the battery connectors on the battery pack's two sides. Next, place the battery pack on the drone. Once you have done that, tighten the bolts that hold your battery pack in its place.
  5. Reattach the connector cable to the battery. Connect the drone's battery connector cable once you have installed the new pack.
  6. The drone should be tested. Before flying your drone again, check whether it still operates correctly. If it does, congratulations!
